  • We offer a variety of lessons: Exam Graded Courses to prepare for examinations, Kids and Adults Piano Lessons suitable for all levels, Classical Piano Lessons, and Music Theory Lessons/Aural Lessons. Piano lessons are offered in three durations: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes.

    We run two workshops: Performance Workshops for pianists/musicians seeking a supportive environment to learn and practice essential performance techniques. In our Group Theory Classes, students to learn music theory basics in a dynamic and supportive group environment.

    • Once the student and/or parent/guardian have decided on a lesson schedule, they will be provided with a registration form and enrolment agreement.

    • The registration form may include personal information, emergency contact details, payment preferences, and any specific policies or waivers.

    • For new sign ups, there is a one-time registration fee (non-refundable) of SGD 30

  • Technique Development: The responsive touch of grand pianos facilitate proper hand positioning and technique from the start, fostering good habits early on.

    Ear Training: The sound quality of grand pianos helps beginners develop a keen ear for music, enabling them to discern nuances in tone and dynamics more effectively.

    Long-term Growth: Learning on a grand piano provides a solid foundation for future advancement, ensuring that beginners develop the skills and discipline necessary for continued progress in their piano studies.

  • It depends on your level and the focus of your class. Typically, each lesson focuses on both practical and theory.

    Technique Practice: Your instructor may guide you through various technique exercises to improve your hand positioning, posture, and overall playing technique. This could include scales, arpeggios, finger exercises, and other technical drills.

    Repertoire Study: You'll likely work on pieces of music chosen by your instructor based on your skill level and learning goals. You'll learn how to interpret the music, play with proper dynamics, expression, and phrasing, and work through any challenging sections.

    Music Theory: You may also delve into music theory concepts relevant to your repertoire. This could include learning about rhythm, harmony, and other fundamental aspects of music theory.

    Music Concepts: Aural training and sight-reading is typically integrated into piano lessons through various exercises.

  • Sheet Music or Lesson Materials: Bring any sheet music or lesson materials assigned by your instructor such as music books, exercise sheets, or notes from previous lessons.

    Practice Journal: Take notes during your lesson to jot down important instructions, feedback, or practice reminders from your instructor.

    Stationery: Having a pencil with an eraser is essential for marking any corrections or annotations on your sheet music or lesson materials. Avoid using pens, as they can't be easily corrected.

    Open Mind and Positive Attitude: Approach each lesson with curiosity, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for music-making. A positive mindset can greatly enhance your learning experience and progress as a pianist.

  • Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons. If a lesson must be missed due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances, the studio should be notified as soon as possible.

    Makeup lessons may be arranged for missed lessons with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.

  • A one-month notice is required to withdraw from any of our music courses. There will be no refunds for lessons already paid for.

    You will be required to make a early termination fee equaling 4 lessons if 30-day’s notice is not given. Students have the option to attend these 4 lessons.
