Deborah commenced her musical education at the age of 3 through Yamaha’s Junior Music Course, and by the age of five, she had already performed her first solo piano recital. She furthered her studies at the NAFA School of Young Talents, achieving distinctions in all ABRSM piano examinations up to Grade 8. By the age of 14, Deborah had completed her ATCL piano performance and ABRSM Grade 8 violin certifications.

At 16, Deborah began offering private piano instruction, with her students consistently earning distinctions under her guidance. She holds both a Diploma in Music Teaching and a Diploma in Music Education.

In addition to her musical endeavours, Deborah has participated in MediaCorp TV acting, won awards in dance, singing, and swimming, and undertaken various part-time roles. She later joined the Ministry of Education under the Music Teaching Scheme, where she has been dedicated to inspiring and educating students ever since.
