Angie Tan

Angie is an accomplished pianist and piano teacher who has tutored students in Music Theory and Practical Exams helping them achieve remarkable results.

She earned the Licentiate Diploma of Trinity College London (LTCL) with Distinction and the Associate Diploma (ATCL) in Recital in Piano. She is currently pursuing her Fellowship Diploma (FTCL) and has attained ABRSM Grade 8 in both Theory and Practical.

Her achievements include:

- Gold in the Advanced Piano Solo category at the Singapore Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) in 2014 and 2023, and Silver in 2015.

- Bronze in the Amateur Teenage Category at the Asia Music Competition 2013 in Taiwan.

Angie has performed in the “SPOTLIGHT” School Concert at Esplanade Recital Studio and masterclasses in Germany and Austria. At Dunman High School, she was an active participant in the Music Elective Programme (MEP), served as the Piano Accompanist for the School Choir, and was the Soprano Sectional Leader.

Beyond her musical achievements, Angie holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, showcasing her dedication to excellence in both academia and the arts.
